

WHO?
Bertie's for Dogs is a premium dog ice cream brand. They needed a fresh brand identity to convey their original concept and unique selling point. The brief was to create a design that attracts pet owners, stands out in the pet food industry, and conveys a fun, wholesome personality. The product is plant-based, so the branding had to reflect its natural ingredients and eco-friendly ethos.











HOW?

I designed a playful logo for Bertie's, using handwritten text for “Bertie’s” and a custom typeface for “for Dogs.” I also illustrated a dog logo and incorporated waves on the packaging to evoke ice cream. The monochrome style is fresh and effective with the accent of yellow highlighting the banana flavour of the product. A plant-based badge featuring a dog paw made of leaves reinforced the product's natural, eco-friendly qualities.











WHY?
This project showcases my ability to build a strong brand identity, bringing together illustration skills, typography and colour choices. The result was a commercially effective and visually compelling identity that resonates with consumers and retailers, reflecting the plant-based, fun, and environmentally friendly nature of the product.
